Scholarships

In 1993, The Major League Baseball Clubhouse Managers Foundation was established. A scholarship fund program ensued shortly thereafter to promote higher education. Over time, the Fund has evolved to promote higher education opportunities for members of the Major League Baseball clubhouse community, including clubhouse attendants, bat boys, bat girls, ball boys, ball girls, and immediate family members of active and retired Major League Clubhouse Managers.

Before the All-Star game in Philadelphia on July 14th, two $10,000 scholarships were awarded along with the Gordon Family Scholarship. Throughout the year many lesser grants are awarded based on need and circumstance.

The 2025 recipients are:

Gordon Family Scholarship

       $25,000 Jonathan Thalblum Athletics

$10,000 Nick Robinson Cincinatti Reds

$10,000 Braden J Coles Tampa Bay Rays
