Major League Baseball Clubhouse Managers Association (MLBCMA) announces winners of their 2017 Scholarship Award.

The Major League Baseball Clubhouse Managers Association Scholarship Fund was established in 1993.  Through the efforts of the Clubhouse Managers, a self funded program was established, which evolved to promote higher education for members of their support staff.  Since 1993 The Major League Baseball Clubhouse Managers Association has awarded over $480,000 to its award recipients.  This year, two $10,000 awards were presented at this year’s All-Star Game in Miami.

This year’s winners are:

Edward Flippen   – Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia Phillies)
Eric Horowitz  – University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (Detroit Tigers)
